Overview Measurement Validation & As-Built Module
In civil engineering projects, measurements are regularly taken to verify whether construction work has been completed in accordance with the design. Before the collected measurement data can be compared with the design, it must first be processed, checked and cleaned. This is often done manually, for example in Excel and Civil3D. Comparing measurement data with design information then requires additional time, while deviations are not always immediately apparent. Particularly when measurements are taken repeatedly, this results in a considerable amount of manual work.
The Measurement Data & As-Built Validation Module automates this entire process. Submitted measurement data is automatically processed, validated and cleaned before the as-built situation is compared with the original design. Deviations beyond predefined tolerances are automatically detected and visually highlighted. This enables project teams to quickly identify where construction work meets the design requirements and where further inspection is needed, without having to repeat the same manual processing and verification tasks.
- Automatically processes and cleans raw measurement data, identifying duplicate records, measurement errors and inconsistencies.
- Reduces repetitive manual Excel work and time-consuming checks of measurement and design data
- Automatically compares validated measurement data with design files, including DXF and DWG formats
- Checks the as-built situation against predefined tolerances in the X/Y- and Z-directions.
- Detects and visually highlights deviations, making it easier to identify areas requiring further inspection
- Prepares measurement data for further processing in Autodesk Civil 3D and supports integration with Autodesk Construction Cloud/Forma
